Three tips for good mailings

Because of the versatility of the Docmail system, you have the power to create high quality Direct Mail documents and get them right in front of your customer at a fraction of what you would normally have to pay.

There are some basic rules you might want to make a note of when it comes to creating awesome high-impact designs:

Tip 1

The Golden Rule - Keep it simple! The biggest impact is achieved with a 'logical content flow' that guides the potential customer from enticing headline, through your message and leaves them with a full understanding of what you are trying to say.

Tip 2

The Call To Action. When your persuasive content has hooked the customer's interest, it is vital that they are presented with the next step. This is usually the chance to make contact to talk further or make a purchase. NEVER bury this or hide it away! Keep it clear and obvious. After the headline, it is the next most important thing on the page.

Design. No-one can become a great designer in a few minutes, but here are some quick tips.

Use no more than 3 colours

Use no more than 2 fonts

Keep body copy 8-10 point

Headings as big and bold as possible
